Rooms need a deep clean!!! The decor feels outdated and lacks modern updates!!! Need better soundproofing to manage noise levels effectively!!!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. My Standard Double Room was cozy with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and private bathroom. The bed was really comfortable too. I appreciated the homely vibe and the security measures in place. A great value for the price, and I felt welcomed throughout my stay.

The family room offered a decent amount of space, which is nice for traveling together. The window view of the surrounding area added a charming touch, making it feel a bit more warm and welcoming.
The cleanliness of the entire premises felt a bit off. stained carpets in the corridors and general untidiness were noticeable. The noise level late at night was quite disruptive, particularly with multiple parties happening nearby, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. the room showed signs of wear, such as holes in the ceiling, which didn’t give the best impression for a family-friendly setting. It seemed like less attention had been paid to the maintenance of common areas, contributing to an unprofessional vibe.

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and went above and beyond making me feel really comfortable and welcome it was like having your own personal team there for you and the rooms have a real homely touch not that cold clinical feel you get from some hotels
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but for what you get it was acceptable

missingWrote a review on 10 Julconvenient locationfriendly staffresponsive managementnoisy environmentrun down
The location of The Old Victoria Hotel is really convenient. I appreciated being close to the city center. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive during my stay. the hotel itself is quite run down. The carpets in the corridors looked new but weren’t installed properly and had an unpleasant smell lingering throughout. My room was noisy. I could hear phone calls and car horns easily, which disrupted my sleep quite a bit. the bathroom setup was not adequate. The shower head didn’t hold properly, and there were suspicious wet spots on the carpet in the room, which was really concerning. I had to cut my stay short after one night instead of my planned two due to these issues. For an educational experience, I would rate the room solely based on its inconvenience, which detracts from the overall appeal of the hotel.
